There were 50 a few years ago now 20 something. Once a black bank has to borrow money from the gov it's over. They'll keep looking till they find enough reason to get it outta here. It's important to keep them thriving enough to not need to borrow, If the community don't support and the bank doesn't have enough rich black connections it's a matter of time before they have to borrow. I have accounts with the one here and recently started opening accounts online with some of the others around the country. I'll probably do the Houston one next. Aint hard to open and put the minimum in it and forget about it.

I opened a savings account but I'm pretty sure they do for checking though
