Win $25K in the Xbox One 'Killer Instinct' ultra fighter gaming tournament

Today Nov. 13, 2013 Microsoft announced that to celebrate the launch of their upcoming video game console the Xbox One, they'll be hosting special "Killer Instinct" Ultra Gaming Tournaments where players can compete to win up to $25,000 in prizes in an update to the Xbox Wire blog. The Microsoft Store in Burlington, Mass. at the Burlington Mall is one of just six locations across the country gamers will be able to compete.

Starting at 6:00 P.M. Nov. 21 the first 256 players who register at the Burlington Microsoft Store will be able to compete in a 16-console tournament of "Killer Instinct" which will begin at 8:00 P.M. EST. The winner (and a guest) of each tournament will get to fly out to Jacksonville, FL. for a special final showdown hosted by Major Nelson.

One Grand Prize Winner will receive the Ultimate Xbox One Gaming House, which includes an Xbox One, all launch night titles, 1 year of Xbox Live PLUS a trip to Jacksonville, FL to play in a final showdown on stage on Saturday, 11.23, to determine the Killer Instinct Fastest Fighter Champion, with Major Nelson as Host & MC. All 1st place winners will also have a meet & greet with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and attend the live performance near the Microsoft store.

One 2nd place Winner will receive all launch night Xbox One titles, 1 year of Xbox Live, and $1,000 Microsoft Store gift card.

One 3rd place winner will receive all launch night Xbox One titles and 1 year of Xbox Live.

The six Microsoft Stores hosting the Killer Instinct tournaments are:

University Village – Seattle, WASH.

Fashion Valley Mall - San Diego, CALIF.

Park Meadows Mall - Lone Tree, COLO.

Houston Galleria – Houston, TX
