I never really liked his music but i thought some of his hooks were dope. Never understood the hype around him. On most of the songs i heard it seemed like he was on that Drake shit... sounding melodic w/ his rhymes & singing n shit. I dont think his "rock band" will go far cuz i think he'll come right back to rappin as soon as he gets motivated w/ something new. its hard to give up something u started & loved passionately for something outside of ur circle of comfort that isnt wat u fell in love w/ to begin w/.

i considered cudi hip hop but not much of a rapper .his freestyle was horrible to me on the westwood show.i think he went off the head but still.day n night the lonely stoner song was my shit though maybe cause its so relateable from my perpective that was dope but havent heard any to put on repeat since .j. cole need a little work but he is the most promising from this new era of hip hop.wale is lyrical but for some reasom im not feeling him.its seems a natural path for cudi to take.
