What we have to ask ourselves as a culture is at what cost do we want more rappers and minorities in the rap game to become just as rich as the mostly white moguls at these record companies.

I'm not saying there can't be millionaires and wealthy rappers and moguls. However if deals are cut and products by niggas like Kanye are sold at high profit margins, it ruins the art. We want to support black business and industry. But in 2016 it has been an excuse for black musicians and moguls to overcharge us for lower quality shit.

Kanye selling us $100 white t shirts and charging money for him to play TLOP in madison square garden. Other rappers concerts are overpriced as fuck for the actual product you get. And Dre is selling niggas below marginal headphones for the same price as quality headphones. This will and in some ways has trickled down to the actual music. You will hear more mumble rap over a "dope beat" so people can mass produce content like future. You will continue to see higher prices for concerts and less stage presence and quality at a live show.

I don't know the general consensus on tha album, but it was definitely his last great work imo. He produced Beez, dude, and had RZA snapping onbthe track. Fuckin RZA!!

Just so y'all know, Kanye is referring to the Tidal vs Apple shit that is going on with the 2 week exclusivity deals. It's fucking up the game because it makes it damn near impossible to hear everyone's music as soon as it's released unless you subscribe to both companies. Hence why he is asking Tim Cook (Apple CEO) and Jay to have a meeting. And Cudi is agreeing with him.
