Cudi was never popping or has no good music? Both MOTM albums are fantastic pieces of music and if you didn't listen to them then you're missing out. 2 gold albums, 2 platinum singles, and a gold single says dude was popping at some point.

Also being the first to do something doesn't mean you made it pop. Tony Hawk didn't create skateboarding...yet he made it pop and popularize it didn't he? For the most part nobody really remember who created something, but who made it hot. And Cudi made this style hot.

Cudi and Ye one of the best duos in hip hop history imo. Name one Wack song these dudes have done together. Would prefer a collab with those two over the Drake-Ye collab. These2 niggas took the genre to where it is today. Cudi doesn't get as much credit as Ye cause he's nowhere near as big but he also had a few years where he was really popping.
