One scene was filmed at a flea market a mile from where I group, and sadly that flea market has been torn down by some wack ass landscaping company so they couldn't ever use it in the series.

EDIT: after Internet research, that was an urban myth about the flea market scene. It wasn't filmed where I grew up, but the malls scenes were in Eden Prairie like 45 miles away.

I wish his Superman project would have seen the light of day. I know the WB wouldn't take the risk, but I would REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, like to see this take on The Batman appear on the big screen. Hell, Fox should let him have a crack at X-Men, his shit could be any worst than the bullshit that Bryan Singer put out. If Smith were to do the X-Men, at lest the characters and film would be truer to the source material.

With Ben Affleck now playing Batman, a Kevin Smith directed BM movie would be the shit. If anyone hasn't seen Red State, that movie is FIRE. He can definitely pull a dramatic Batman, but still as a comic fan bring enough of his humor that a Batman movie would need.
