Kevin Gates Charged With Battery After Allegedly Kicking Fan
UPDATE: Police have charged the Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper after an incident at a concert.

Kevin Gates has been charged with simple battery, TMZ reports.
The rapper allegedly kicked a fan in the chest after she was tugging on his shorts during a concert in Florida last month.
The police investigated the incident and decided to charge the Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper.

According to AllHipHop.com, an 18-year-old woman who was kicked in the chest by Kevin Gates during a performance over the weekend in Lakeland, Florida, was taken to the hospital shortly after.
The fan’s mother, Kristy Irelan, says she received a CT scan while at the hospital. Irelan also revealed that her daughter “passed out” following the kick.
“She told me that she was excited to see him and next thing she knows she was kicked in the chest and she was passed out…It pisses me off. I don’t care who you are- an NFL player, just a regular person or a rapper- you don’t come to anybody’s home town and kick anybody- she did not deserve that,” Ireland said, according to AllHipHop.com.
Amateur video of the encounter, which was uploaded to YouTube, shows someone touching Gates’ leg. He then kicks them with his right leg.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana rapper has yet to respond directly to the incident, but did send the following message on Twitter shortly after his performance: "Kill me,when you see me - it's dat simple"
It is currently unclear what the results of the teen’s CT scan were, and if the family plans on taking any legal action.

I just saw the video... Smh... Yo, wtf is this nigga thinkin? Before I watched it, I thought ol' girl may have been holding on to his leg or sumin to that extent -- something that warranted such a harsh reaction. She brushed that nigga leg and he reacted like the broad said "Fuck ya moms!"
