I peeped the credits for institutionalized, Snoop isn't credited as a writer IJS.

As far as songwriting goes, I wonder why Terrace didn't get many considering I'm sure he "wrote" his Sax solos

Dave Chappelle should have gotten a writer credit for Wesleys Theory

You Aint Got to Lie has a family reunion summer time top down feel to

Reminds me of something Erykah Badu/ early Jill Scott would make.

Said the same thing and his voice on it sounds like her too lfmao

Listened to the album on spotify before I purchased and the song came on in rotation. I didn't know the name but could've sworn she was gonna feature based off the cadence of the best and the hook. I can see the reason why people don't like the album as I was thrown for a loop on first listen, but it ain't foreign language.

I enjoyed the album..

But lets keep it 100

This album isn't a true pro black revolutionary album.. There is no "fight the power","nature of the threat", "Cave bitch", etc...

As unapologetic as "blacker the berry" seems,it still doesn't pack the vitriol and intensity as true pro black rap album

This album is Kendricks "2pacalyspe now"... Yet Kendrick himself is no where 2pac in energy or intensity

Section 80 was rawer..im grateful for this album tho because its a surprise interscope allowed a album like this to be mainstream in 2015
