I'm going on the record to call this album is a classic is so damn black i love from 60s militant music, 70s funk, james brown influenced, whike keeping it compton at the same time the album is infused with every era of black music and how it influences our culture shit is amazing

That Soul & Jazz feel comes from my Man Terrace Martin . . .

I was Listening and could pick apart certain Elements i knew he added or Produced .

...Dude's one of the GOAT Producers of this Generation.

My theory is...

That "talk" with Ms. Badu at the awards show birthed the sonic feel of this album. Outstanding.

You think he Fucked Erykah Badu and she Changed that nigga like 3 Stacks & Common.? Lol

i, The blacker the berry, and king kunta all sound so much better in the context of the album. It's nothing like Good Kid mad City... You can tell Travon Martin and Ferguson and those events heavily influenced his creative process. There are no bad songs on here and everything is creative but there is nothing as catchy as Bitch dont kill my vibe or money trees or swimming pools but he definitely did not go backwards on this record. It is his most mature work thus far.

got dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmn ... that verse on "For Free?" doe..

so "these walls can talk" third verse is Kendrick talking to old boy who shot his patna and is now serving life cos he got caught immediately? ... but now Kendrick is fucking ol boys baby mamma while he's locked up out of spite and he's describing fuckin her in the first verse? ...........damn

...lol ...wild shit

Lol @"Nah Son" the leak might've bought you some time

So .. this whole album he's talking to Pac essentially .. and replaying certain aspects of their "conversation" thru certain tracks .. kind of trading "war stories" and displaying to Pac the things he's gone thru so far during his rap career ......... Hmmmmm Interesting
