My last post re: j cole. There's a difference between j. cole's 'flames' and Kendrick's flames. Kendrick has made history. Classic debut...J. Cole has "flames". Its not generationally good, its not last 5 years good, its good 'for him'. Its solid. Cool lil album.
Its like Nomar compared to Jeter. Canseco to Griffey. Garnet to Duncan. They're impact is "close' at a snapshot in time but cream always rises to the top, so that will not be the case as time passes. And God forbid he drops another 5 mic'er wtf yall gon say then?? I'll holla back in a month when its 2 albums to 3 and we'll see whats what
Okay rosenberg calmdown

Kendrick Lamar wears his hair in a twist on the cover of RollingStone. Issue hits newsstands this Friday. Below, he gives an explanation behind the title of the album.
Lamar is vague about what specifically the title To Pimp a Butterfly means (“That will be taught in college courses someday,” he says). But he describes the album as “honest, fearful and unapologetic.” “You take a black kid out of Compton and put him in the limelight, and you find answers about yourself you never knew you were searching for,” he said. “There’s some stuff in there, man. It’s a roller coaster. It builds.”
In addition to “The Blacker the Berry”, another confirmed track is “King Kunta”.
The songs range from the intensely personal to the swaggeringly aggressive – like “King Kunta,” which could be the theme song from a Seventies blaxploitation flick. When Pharrell Williams first heard the track, he praised it by calling it “unapologetically black.” “It’s just him expressing how he’s feeling at the moment,” says Lamar’s longtime producer Mark “Sounwave” Spears. “And right now, he’s mad.”

Take it even deeper and this is white they think we've done to their precious country. Look in the middle. Looks like they are holding a white baby. These niggas will destroy your country and corrupt your children
