It's good he is saying something about it publicly but I was under the impression that everybody in the world, particularly in the US suffered from depression from time to time. Suicidal thoughts are natural, so is being paralyzed by disappointment and fear but not moving on is unnatural along with ending your own life.

Some people dont have the luxury of calling it a disease, but that doesnt make it any different. Life sucks, so what... You're not special for being depressed and you dont need medication. Aspergers is a bullshit disease that they use to label anti-social people

I've dealt with depression all my life, but I dont expect any sympathy points for it

Depression is biological, it's a disease like anything else. Do we call cancer patients cowards when they become terminal and die? You need to understand what it is you're talking about before you talk about it. That shit isn't a choice. Depression causes physiological changes and makes your brain your own worst enemy. A comedian is one of the most depressed people in the world. Every time I hear someone took their life, I look at one or two things. I've had moments in my life where there hasnt been any hope. I've had moments in my life were I was in a financial hole stressing out but I didn't blow my brains out because there isnt any hope.

Btw depression isn't a "mood", and not everyone has the same "issues". People gone through embarassing shit that they have no control over or solution to, that people are quick to make fun of on a "normal" social level. It's usually the lack of maturity concerning whatever is truly bothering them on deep level to feel isolated and disconnected socially, which causes more depression. Even worse certain shit could lead to more shit which causes manifestation. If you don't have great people around you like friends and family, who are willing to listen to you from the jump, b4 shit gets worse, then eventually everything catches up to you.

depression i a mental illness for sure, there is no blood test or body scan like for diseases that affect the body.
