Smh.....watever. Give Cole some time to grow a little and build a stronger fan base. He might not do 150k+ first week, but he will def surpass that when his 2nd album drops.

No doubt, his fan base is huge now, but it got room to grow. I have no problems with cole, I love his music. I just think his fans need to let him progress as a rapper, before they start calling out that savior of rap shit, cause that just sets up niggas to fail.

Its 2 different conversations. J. Cole isn't as talented of a rapper as Lupe. And he's not as popular as Eminem or Drake. Both, Boom implied.

I agree with this thread. Cole has talent but Cole world was just a lazy ass effort. It's like he recorded that on a couch with a bag of cheeto puffs on his lap. Plus the production was very mediocre. Kendrick's beat selection shits on Cole. His other aspects just edge him out by a little bit though.
