We'll have to wait to see if this is legit. But according to a few sources the album is supposed to have more of a "commercial" sound. So I guess that means what people consider "bangers", "slappers" or "Trunk Rattler" beats ??????
But I guess people are seeing Terrace Martin and automatically thinking jazz beats. But he's versatile and can do different sounds like YG's "Twist My Fingaz" and helped Mustard with the sound of YG's first project (keyboards, etc.)
And if this album has a similar sound like TPAB, I'm cool with it. I don't know why people consider Jazz Rap lame or a sin when A Tribe Called Quest, Digable Planets, De La Soul, Common, The Roots, and many more have used this style - and made Dope Albums !!! And if this is Kendrick's lane for the future - let him drive in it.

LOL! ... yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Top had his marketing team make that shit up to generate more buzz or headlines until the release date. After the early release fuckup with Interscope with TPAB in 2015, I'm pretty sure Top has the final product locked up in a safe with a personal fingerprint code.
