Compton rhymer Kendrick Lamar is continuing to obliterate records with his latest studio release, DAMN.

Billboard reports that for the week of May 6, songs on DAMN. have secured the #1 through #9 spots on the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart, making this latest feat from K-Dot the first ever in chart history.

Billboard’s On-Demand Streaming Songs chart tracks on-demand domestic streams from streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music.

DAMN. singles, “Humble.” and “DNA.” captured the top two spots, while “Element.,” “Loyalty.” and “Love.” round off the top five.

Atlanta rapper Future captured the #10 spot on the On-Demand Streaming Songs chart with “Mask Off.”

All 14 cuts from DAMN. hit the chart with “Duckworth.” closing in at #16.

The record for the artist with the most top songs on the chart was previously held by Drake. The Canadian crooner/rapper managed to have eight songs in the top 10 on the chart earlier this month with his More Life playlist, and once last year.

J. Cole also accomplished that same feat in December of last year upon the release of his 4 Your Eyez Only album.

Since its release on April 14, DAMN. and other projects from K-Dot have had an impressive run on the charts. In addition to DAMN. serving as the highest-selling debut of 2017, all four studio albums from Kendrick charted on the Billboard 200 following the release of the LP.

I guess Dot wasn't lying on the Heart 4 when he said he gon have the whole industry on an ice pack. DAMN

Lucy begins to cast the spell.

Lucy resents God for creating Earth, using dna to create people and then being sent down to earth to help people who can't be saved.

Lucy feels like earth is meaningless and shouldn't affect what happens in heaven.

Controlling Kendrick spinning out of control (chaos) and into wickedness.

Lucy fully tries to convert Kendrick and tries to get kendrick to fully commit.

On God kendrick is fully possessed so the ad-lib plays in sync.

God reminds Kendrick who he is and what his purpose is. He is here for a reason and to never forget.

God rewinds events and recreates kendrick.

This was all Gods doing all along.

To show Kendrick doesn't control his fate God does.

we are watching kendrick become this star knowing full well what can happen when people get this successful. He's now not so sure about what everything means. Are we the fans encouraging and allowing kendrick to get absorbed by the fame and it's trapping/taken away by Lucy.

He's now displaying addict behaviour. Justifying and blaming others for his drug problem.

Loyalty

Starts off serpent like /"secret society".

You reach levels of fame. People question whether people sell their souls illuminati. Kendrick thinks he's now being tested. Questioning what his motives are behind his moves. Are they genuine or for the fame.

Kendrick is fully under the influence now. He's not sure who to trust and questioning everyone's motives. Kendrick is subconsciously fighting back.

Lucy comes back as a serpent to keep kendrick under control. Telling kendrick he's strong and they can fight anything together. Just stick to the plan. Lucy is putting him even more under her spell /influence.

He mentions Rihanna making more money when she turned from a good girl to a bad girl on fear. Rihanna was accused of selling her soul when she released umbrella from the Good girl gone bad album.

Pride

kendrick at his weakest.

Kendrick is now depressed and feels he can't trust people in this world. He has lost all faith in man. He believes we are fully lost. He's also suffering from a come down. His body feels cold and weak. Everything feels cold to him which reflects how he sees the world.

Lucy comes forth and begins to tell everyone that she has no faith in man. She says it makes no difference what she does because it's happened before.

This is the second time Lucy has seen this happened.

Lucy has never cared enough to help. Sees no reason or benefit in helping.

Humble

Kendrick has now gone from an extreme low to extremely cocky and boastful. Just like mood swings addicts will have.

Kendrick now thinking he can dictate wherever the culture goes and is dictating to every one that they should be humble in front of a king. (King kunta) whilst stating his

This is Lucy testing out kendricks influence. Commanding everyone to sit down and being very disrespectful. Kendrick is still trying to push a positive message but Lucy is toying with him.

Kendrick likes this side of himself. It's the extrovert he wants to be but can't because he's more an introvert. He's now not himself. He has a problem.

This is Lucy in control of kendrick. Using his power and Influence. He/Lucy starts with "nobody pray for me" - doesn't want to be cast out.

Kendrick has asked if anyone was praying for him.

Kendrick probably purposely lead the album with this song. With Lucy is in control of hip hop.

Lust

About his thirst for fame and flirting with just going all in. Just wants to put the head in. Classic tactic.

He just wants to feel a little but of the fame /drug.

We all just have to know what that feels like.

He's hot right now and and thinking he may as well just go all out or is he getting comfortable and just thinking that's the case.

He's now an addict fiending for more. He's become dependant on fame/drugs.

He's crying out for them.

You have to drink lots of water when taking Exctasy.

The beat is a an irregular heart beat just like when on drugs.

I fucks with this. Kendrick took an abstract "perception in the viewers eyes" approach. I agree with you that Lamar wouldnt make a filler album with no deep message. Thats not his style or game, i think there is some truth to your post.
