See his momma is on my side

This his best album so far B)

TPAB > DAMN

Say kendricks discography is like Will Smiths filmograpghy....

GKMC is like his "Independence Day" (a classic)

DAMN is his "I AM Legend"

TPAB is like "7Pounds" its a great movie and powerful especially on 1st watch. But u cant watch 7Pounds everyday like I AM Legend or Independence Day. U needa be in the mood for that.

....did that make sense?

:#

Never saw 7 pounds lol

No club for me, I just left a friends grandmother birthday party, she turned 100 so I was getting it cracking with the old folks today. Had some henny in my system and told them to put that on and well, I was flexing on all the elderly people *shrugs*

On some audio nerd shit, I knew somethin was up when the Bass was drowning out Kdots lyrics on "DNA" in the whip with some woofers. Dre didnt mix this album, shame.

Dre has had minimum production on all of Dot's major label releases. He co-mixed like 2 or 3 songs on GKMC (Ali mixed every track), he had a very brief appearance on TPAB (no mixing at all), and all he was involved in on DAMN. was being the album's executive producer (which is what he's been on every K. Dot album since signing). Stop tryna force this nigga to overproduce Kendrick's shyt!!!!

I didn't say shit about him producing shit tho.

Mixing is part of the production process, fam, no? And I was just putting you on game, soak it up.

No, it has nothin to do with actually producing the track. The track has to be done first, then mixed. That's why theres 2 separate credits for it.

*Sigh* you know what I meant bruh. Fine. Call it post-production. It's still part of the album's production process.

TPAB stayed on rotation for me. I really didn't have a problem with the Jazz Rap/ Neo-Soul feel. I think TPAB is on the same quality level as DAMN

DAMN to me is a better album...i been playing DAMN all the way through and can say is more enjoyable than TPAB. Concept and idea wise i respect TPAB more, but song for song. DAMN is a better album.
