Smh and lmao. Some of y'all must have some shitty ass non-loving relationships. Both of the songs were to a wife and fiancé, not some regular chick.

I've got to do this next. I know someone mentioned it several posts back.

This album has 2 stories, wickedness story and weakness story, listening to it in order 1-14 tells one story, while listening to it 14-1 tells a different story. In one he lives through FEAR, in another one he lives through RAP and dies on the street, becoming just another news story, hence why the order 14-1 ends with the BLOOD's Fox News sample. The cover shows 2 kendricks, a wicked red one, and a weak green one on the back. The reversed parts in the album are the hints of him telling us to "PUT IT IN REVERSE" Either way, the title works, in his life, growing up with a father and living "right" he still FEARS, because when we die, we leave everything behind, even if you are living right, an act of kindness can kill you as simply as that, as we are constantly reminded "WHAT HAPPENS ON EARTH STAYS ON EARTH!"even if he lives through RAP, the backwards order, he ends up dead in the street by an act of kindness, dying and leaving everything on earth all the sameThat's the meaning of DAMN, from the word DAMNATION, that once we die we are cursed to leave everything behind.

Yup I got the same too.

More cheesy than eating cheerios with almond milk & foldin panties???

Nah

the whole almond milk thing was corny.

but LOVE as an entire song sounds cheesy.

atleast folding clothes as a groove to it...if only its redeeming quality.

I wanna fold clothes for you

I wanna make you feel good

Baby I wanna do the right thing

Feels so much better than the wrong thing

I said I wanna fold clothes for you

I wanna make you feel good

Baby I wanna do the right thing

Feels so much better than the wrong thing

I wanna fold clothes for you

I wanna fold clothes for you

Woke up this morning

Feeling like the best version of me, so happy

I, walked in the living room

And saw you all alone on the couch, just napping

I, I see a lot on your plate

9 months with that weight

I know you tired so I wonder how I can help

I get the basket and grab your clothes out the dryer

Oh

I wanna fold clothes for you, hey hey

I wanna make you feel good

Baby I wanna do the right thing

Feels so much better than the wrong thing

I don't like the song, but as a HAPPILY married man for almost 6 years, for me, it is extremely relatable. I get what he was doing and why he was doing it, and it was commendable, but not everything is meant to be put in song form.

That and Wet Dreamz are fuckin terrible.

Edit: I've been with my wife for over 10 years and I've never folded no damn panties though.

Man im folding panties Its not that deep.

Its just some shit you do for your woman dont need to be said in public, much less on a song.

Like eating pussy.

I fold my son's clothes. That's way more beneficial to her, in terms of saving her time and energy. She doesn't want me folding up her clothes anyway. She says I fuck shit up. I'll hang up her important stuff and that's the extent of it.

And Love is exponentially better than Fold Clothes.

Aye a lot of yall are cool as fuck but naw...

Foldin' Clothes >>>>>>>>>>> LOVE. infinitely

The rest of the albums though are in Dot's favor.

That ain't even Zacari's best feature. In the past year we had Wat's Wrong from Zay (also featuring Dot) and Raw (Backwards). Both of those songs shit on LOVE. Foldin Clothes shits on LOVE. for the beat alone.

I'll start off by saying I like the album but

This album is a step back Imo. With his previous joints he separated himself from his peers but not on this one.

It kinda feels like he made an album that would be mainstream, which I can't knock him for, but I just don't fuck with it like the other ones.

It sounds like he was listening to a lot of Drake while making this album too.

Duckworth is classic Kendrick tho

Anybody that likes "Love" better not be a Drake hater lol its the same damn kinda music he makes.

There is a big difference between one song on your album about Love vs 15 straight songs about simping and dwelling on ex girlfriends.

Nigga half of drakes albums are that nigga singing...kendrick has always had a song or two for the ladies...big difference between the way Kendrick engages his female audience and the way drake does...

That "Love" song was probably Interscope/Universal pressure. I remember Q saying in an interview a while back how "overtime" on his "Blank Face" was something the label wanted him to do,

i dont know about yall. but i kinda felt like in a way kendrick was mockin how formuliac love songs are on that joint. on that tip i enjoy it a bit more. all in all for a love song its not bad. it aint no fuckin passionfruit thats for damn sure. i just cannot get into pride for some reason tho. btw i unno if its been posted yet but....

Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN. Set To Smoke Drake, Relish More Sales In ’17 Battle

Top Dawg Entertainment’s Kendrick Lamar is the king of 2017 record sales. Or will be. The hip-hop star’s new DAMN. album is reportedly now en route to sell over 500,000 copies.

The latest projections have Lamar’s solo project easily turning into the biggest opening week debut of 2017.

The difference is Overtime was dope though. Apparently, it wasn't too much of of a issue since Dot both co-wrote and performed on said track..
