The hypocrisy of black feminists blasting Kendrick is laughable. Lauryn Hill said the same thing on "That Thing" and all I heard was silence on the matter.

Social media wasn't too prevalent in 1998

This I know.

I just want it on the record that hip hop artists (female artists included) have said what Kendrick has said with impunity.

Mann, done got ran off my own site. These country mfs from here done made it there saying Krit>>>K.dot , had the mfn nerve to compare Krit to D'angelo, nigga smh

ban them all

Wait ya'll don't think Krit can be compared to K.dot? I mean I like Kendrick better, but it ain't like he's blowing Krit out the water.

They both deliever and respectively I don't think either of em are better than the other. They bring two different styles to their hip hop but ultimately share the same messages, both lyrically kill it.

Who's style do you prefer?

If Krit, then Krit is "better", if kdot, then kdot is "better".

Thats not what happened at all.

Goldie stanning over Future is all.

Says u cant be dope unless u on the pop charts.

Wants "real hip hop heads" on his site but keeps citing Future as a great artist :/

Shit, I been meaning to join.

I learned a simple lesson later in life that I wish I had learned alot earlier..."you can't please everybody". That shit changed my whole style up. I literally started focusing on what MADE me happy...bc there will always be a mothafucka w something negative to say no matter what u do.

That was also 20 years ago and if That Thing would've been released today it most likely would get a negative reaction from some too...that said they're over analyzing the fuck out of 2 bars on a song and need to let it go

Kendrick Lamar is going to be in the top 5 DOA when it's all said and done tho. He's definitely one of the top 3 rappers today. The crazy thing is he's going to get even better with time.

Bruh, get the fuck outta here. And all them niggas that co-signed you too. Niggas is delusional. KL is not on that kind of trajectory. If that nigga died today, he's not even top 25. The album ain't even fuckin out yet, you niggas over hype everything.

LOL Kendrick could make a top 25 if he keeps dropping great albums. Talking about top 5 DOA already is hilarious though
