Being one of KanYe day 1 fans, I'm not shocked that he had a lot of gems early in his career. For those that don't know, KanYe offically started producing in 96' when he was 19 but didn't get his 1st placement until 98 when he was 21. I remember listening to KanYe back in 98 when I was just graduating high school and going to freshmen year of college. Amazing looking back cause I knew instantly that he was dope even though he was pretty unknown back then. These gems may surprise you but it was Ye' back in the day:

Made Men - Just You And I (Though this album was far from 4.5 Mics like Benzino gave it in the Source. The Production was actually solid on this and KanYe is one of the reasons why. He produced this gem and the remix to "Deja Vu")

Foxy Brown - My Life (This song Foxy talks about how her and Lil Kim were friend than became enemies. KanYe rips a gutair loop)

Goodie Mob - Rebuilding (KanYe showed his versitility early as he produced this southern track early in his career)

Harlem World featuring NaS and Carl Thomas (What's ironic about "Takeover" is KanYe actually worked with NaS before he worked with or met Jay Z. NaS was on some of KanYe's earliest tracks including "Poppa was a Playa" and "Turn It Out" on JD's album)

The Madd Rapper featuring Eminem (Listen to KanYe tell the story of this beat at the beginning of this song. Kanye worked with Eminem way back in 98 before he released his debut album)

What's amazing is KanYe was working with the Big Time artist early in his career. Check out his whole production Discography:

What's crazy about "Poppa Was A Playa" was I didn't know who produced it for years. I had it on my "I am Bootleg" in College in 99. That beat was so serious. Than when Lost Tapes came out, It said "Produced by D. Dot". Being a Biggie fan, I've always loved D. Dot's beats so I was floored by the way he flipped the sample. That same year D. Dot came out and admitted that KanYe "Ghost-Produced" the track and it all made sense. That's when I knew I was a KanYe fan from jump cause that "Poppa Was Playa" not being on "I am" upset me. KanYe is a genius.

Yea they pulled a Puffy and gave Dilla the remix and took credit for the original (Cough, Cough Pete Rock Cough, Cough). I'm a Janet fan so as soon as I heard that song I remember thinking, "Wow this is really Hip Hop for Janet" Espeically with Qtip on the rap at the end. It's one of her best songs of her career. She Won a Grammy also sadly Dilla didn't get the proper credit. But History is always the final judge, Jimmy Jam and Terry think they are slick, they did not produce that track, listen to the drums and keyboards, that Dilla all day. Speaking of Dilla, I though KanYe did a great job on Common's "Be and Finding Forever" mimicing Dilla's style.

Album was slept on IMO...

Yeah, 'Ye channelled Dilla's spirit into that album 'cos Common was mourning his passing at the time...

As an overall product, it was another brilliant effort from 'Ye...

Speaking of Ye's Genius, when it came time to do remixes for argueable the greatest album of all time, "Thriller". KanYe was the only one that did it justice. While Akon, Will I Am and Fergie made weak and horrible remixes. KanYe did the smartest thing which was not really change the track but remix it. "Billie Jean" one of the greatest songs of all time was a up tempo track. Ye' slowed it down, added strings and made it a very dramatic remix to this Classic. What made Ye's remix work is that you could see this as an actual B-Side to the original "Bille Jean" single. Ye' didn't rap and just added adlibs. Michael's vocals were perfect and it's just a great remix. Sadly again Akon, Will I Am and Fergie should be ashamed at making those bad remixes but KanYe saved the day. Great Remix.

Kanye West Finishes My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Star tweets picture of finalized fifth album that confirms tracks like 'Monster' and 'Lost in the World' will be included.

By Mawuse Ziegbe (@mawuseziegbe)

There has been much speculation about which songs will make the cut for Kanye West's upcoming release, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The superstar spitter recently ended much of that speculation by tweeting a picture of the final album, which revealed the LP's track list. "We finally done! Toast!" West short film "Runaway," such as the all-star collabo "All Of The Lights" and the final song of the movie, "Lost in the World." Some of the MC's G.O.O.D. Friday joints appear on the album, including "Monster," "Devil in a New Dress" and Yeezy's favorite "So Appalled." The MC's two official singles, "Power" and "Runaway," seem to have landed on the record as the third and ninth joints, respectively.

Just last Saturday, when Yeezy sat down with MTV for a live Q&A session following the premiere of "Runaway," the MC revealed he wasn't sure which songs would make the album, but did hint at which tracks may be released as bonus cuts. "And we got a few bonus tracks, like 'See Me Now,' 'Mama's Boy' and some bonus tracks after that. There's like 13 or 14 songs ... maybe 'Chain Heavy' will be on there. We have to make a decision by tomorrow," he said. West, who ripped into hackers when "Lost in the World" was prematurely leaked in September, also maintained that the tracks slated to appear on Fantasy will be of superior quality to any of the tracks circulating on the Web. "So there's maybe 13 or 14 tracks, but they're way produced. Far from any bootleg, far from any hacker," he insisted. "A hacker, man, can't give you what I can give you once it's the whole product."

Well, we pretty much heard half of the album. I'm going to have to make an extended edition with the "G.O.O.D. Friday" tracks. But from what I heard, this is looking like a 4 MIC LP maybe even higher.

^Yeah I'm thinking 3.5-4 mics on this one. I was bumping CD/LR/Graduation for like a whole year after each came out. 808's I barely listeened to, and none of the new tracks are really staying on repeat except for "So Appalled" which sucks 'cuz 'Ye is in my top 5.

I really like "Lord, Lord, Lord", "G.O.O.D. Friday," and that new joint "The Joy" though. I wish those were on the album.

So, here's the official tracklist for Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (according to what is posted for sale on Amazon.com. Go ahead, go there if you don't believe me), so check out the cast that will be making appearances throughout the album. Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, that list of eleven people for "All of the Lights". Plenty. Also, the above picture is "rumored" to be the third cover out of the five that Kanye will be using for the album. Tracklist below, my thoughts first:

1.) This is a great indicator that the album will indeed leak before Kanye's November 22nd release date. Let's say, November 11th will be the "leak" date (it of course will get taken down), and then November 18th will be the "re-leak" date.

2.) With this superstar cast along for the ride, if Kanye is a total bust, it could still be a somewhat decent album. The bad parts would simply consist of when we hear him.
Who knows, though. Here's the tracks:

1- Dark Fantasy
2 - Gorgeous f. KiD CuDi & Raekwon
3 - Power f. Dwele
4 - All Of the Lights (Interlude)
5 - All Of the Lights f. Alicia Keys, Charlie Wilson, Elly Jackson, Elton John, Fergie, John Legend, KiD CuDi, Rihanna, Ryan Leslie, The-Dream & Tony Williams
6 - Monster f. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj & Bon Iver
7 - So Appalled f. Jay-Z, Pusha T, CyHi Da Prynce, Swizz Beatz & RZA
8 - Devil In A New Dress feat. Rick Ross
9 - Runaway f. Pusha T
10 - Hell Of A Life
11 - Blame Game f. John Legend
12 - Lost In The World
13 - Who Will Survive In America

14 - See Me Now [Bonus]

whoa whoa whoa easy my nigga lol. Hendrix played is music with a raw sound no tricks or gimmicks like autotune cough cough 808's and heartbreaks. Hendrix wasn't some emo louis vutton bitch who apologizes for everything and kisses ass. Ye post late registration is one weird ass sellout nigga. And also hendrix was never some sad little bitch who cried about not getting a chance to sign. Lol stans say the darnest things.

I kind of feel you on Kanye post-Late Registration. IMO, that was the last album he made where the production had that "wow, this is ground breaking" factor to it. Since then, Kanye's pretty much channeled whom ever he was influenced by at the moment it seems. I don't think it's Kanye selling out, it's just him focusing more on being the greatest overall artist than being greatest producer.
