Neither one of them have done anything impressive recently. MBDTF is NOT impressive. Jay has NOTHING to talk about. He can spit a dope sounding verse here and there...but they are few and far in between these days. I just don't know what y'all are hearing. I mean I know it's cool to say you like everything b/c having an unfavorable opinion and discussing it is considered haterism by most of you, but I mean...these dudes been on some wack stuff.

It is what it is. I ain't dissin' y'all for liking, just voicing my opinion.

Aight I respect that.........

But really, a nigga can spit a bad verse and everyone jumps and calls his whole career as a rapper wack. LOL at selective memory

Didn't you just co-sign homie being hit or miss? So how the hell does that equate to "a nigga can spit a bad verse and everyone jumps and calls his whole career as a rapper wack"? Like the nigga spit one bad verse out of 100 and people turn against him.....Niggas today man.......

So here's what I got from this thread:

Kanye can't rap.
Jay-Z KILLS him on every track.
This HAM beat is not a banger.

LOL...keep it up niggaz...I'm crying over here.

Why do you get so worked up over opinions?

What he's describing in this song does describe regular people. Anybody that made it despite obstacles and opposition can relate to that verse whether they went from the PJ's to ballin' or they are maintaining spiritually, mentally, and physically despite any stress or drama that may plague their everyday life.

regular people don't face obstacles analogous to being potentially eaten by sharks or run over by construction equipment

You said you don't listen to a lot of Jay...

So clearly you haven't heard the 319023750198343 other times he said the same thing in a different way.

Jay made a song circa 2003 called "What More Can I Say?"

Basically an admission that ain't shit he can say that's gonna be fresh or new at this point.

this perspective never made any sense to me just because I have already seen Blake Griffin dunk on niggas plenty of times doesn't make the next time he bangs on somebody any less entertaining. The fact that Jay Z keeps coming up with new ways to address the same subject matter at 15 years is actually impressive to me

Truthfully the beat is not really a banger, its ok Ye should have done it. Kanye is an avg rapper at best and the Jay vs Kanye rhymes is just unnecessary

I'm laughing at yall niggaz lmao

I don't get what is so funny.

If somebody says Jay always kills Kanye, that is a reasonable opinion
If somebody says Kanye can't rap, that is a reasonable opinion
If somebody says the beat is not a banger, considering it's the same Lex Luger beat for the 500,000th time, its a reasonable opinion

In defense..the beat produced by Lex is really not that hot though..it's aight, but I expected better..

Jay got murdered by 'Ye on "Run This Town"...and that's the truth.

Kanye can rap sometimes..he's a hit and miss rapper.

Real talk, people keep saying what the fuck is wrong with hiphop and blaming the artist and labels, but when i truly think about it, IT'S THE FANS. You niggas bitch and complain about every fucking thing, yall can't even listen to a song without over analyzing or get on the who came off better.
