international tours dont mean much anymore because the global market thirsts for american acts because they cant do as many shows overseas. Look at an artists facebook fan page and all you see is "come to spain!" "come to japan!". Selling out a concert is easier overseas than in the states because their is less supply and scarcity for american artists overseas and more demand. Also overseas most places hold less people than american arenas/stadiums/ampitheatres. It used to be if you had buzz overseas you really were something special now with the internet and faster communication overseas it just means they want another taste of american culture.

all of that aside, you must be hiding under a rock if you don't think pink can go anywher ein this country and hold a 1000 person show. any state she can have that amount.

of course pink has definently reinvented herself and been consistent over a decade which is impressive in the pop world and could def get 1K anywhere in the usa i def agree with that. its just right now she couldn't get 10k in a small market.

i'm not saying its not a good album, but to have kanye not having a top 10 hit after 3 singles is worrying for hip hop on a whole - its about our genre that guy is a major spokesperson and if his music isnt that creating that level of impact anymore then hip hop is losing its importance and the charts are a good indicator of that

dont kid urself not having a top 10 hit like gold digger, stronger, through the wire or a heartless will affect his record sales

I think all of the lights might save his ass as rihanna is on fire and really made this song

Rihanna is a guarntee for success of this song, but Fergie version is way better.

SMH @ These numbers. Ye 80% drop?, Nicki 72% Drop? Hip Hop is in trouble, Big time. Looks like only a few emcees will even be able to go Platinum in this era. Sorry, KanYe album doesn't seem like it's hitting 2x Platinum. Nicki doesn't look like she's going platinum either. Goes to show you how 1st week sales are always overhyped. It's about longevity on the charts. Some great albums had an average 1st week only to remain on the charts for years to come. I think the whole system has been exposed and new artist are best to not sign with major labels and keep doing their thing independently.

And the album is still doing well and reviews are almost of "Universal Acclaim". I don't think he'll need a Top 10...Although Lost In The World might be a top 10 hit.
