Why is Kendrick rapping with that weird voice/accent? I like his real voice that he raps with on Section.80. He changes his inflection on GKMC, but it worked better there because it wasn't nasally and shit like this here. He sounds like the shit Eminem was doing on Relapse, or like Wayne, as someone said. I'm not a fan of that.
As for the track, if you listen to the lyrics, it's not even close. Kendrick clearly had a superior verse on a purely lyrical level. He came with punchlines, wordplay, and some interesting content. Kanye definitely rapped better here than he did on that entire Yeezus album, but let's keep things in perspective and not get too carried away. He didn't really say anything clever on here. It was just nice to hear him talking some rap shit and going for bars.
