That's koo but that's just your opinion just because u don't like someone's music doesn't mean u should deny there skill set.....I'm not taking anything from pac. Even pac admitted his not a technical type of rappers. When u speak on technical rapping we're basically speaking on word play, metphors, similes, punchlines. Joey is cut from that same old school cloth as Joe Budden, crooked I, royce 9, WuTang, Joel Ortiz, Nas, Big L, Biggie, Lupe, Jay electronica where lyrical ability is praised as the end all be all. So for Joey to say he could out bar pac isn't a stretch....for niggas to say pac could out bar Joey ud have to place his technical skills on the mic on the same level as some of the guys I just named and ud be lying if u said he could lyrically out bar them cats. Hittem up was a great diss but it was very direct and straight forward it wasn't like Joe Budden disses to Drake where he was dropping punchlines and metphors every other line. An it doesn't mean Hittem up wasn't better but there's a big difference between the two in the way of technical skills on the mic

2pac got RnB singers to feature and do the hook on 99% of his songs more than any other rapper in history. Hooks were his weakness. So this is why he wasn't a good song writer he couldn't do hooks and got more features for hooks than anybody ever. All he did was rap verses in the song. While the RnB singer featuring did the hook and the producer made the beat for him

His beat selection was also weak his beats were pretty wack didn't bang at all

Yes he had a message but what good is message if it is executed in a very boring and very non engaging way? this is subjective of course but from my perspective his music was boring because he executed the message in a boring way. Having a message is the easiest thing in principle anyone can have a message in their music. What is the key factor is the execution of the message

I don't play any of his albums even his better ones like All Eyez On Me and Me Against The World because they lack replay value to me because I find them and his style boring
