I'm confused why any person would look to a rapper for fashion tips. Most of them niggas look stupid ass hell. Whether it's the tight ass jeans & shirts or the big ass pants & hats. I'm a grown man so I dress accordingly. If Jay-Z or any other rapper is the lead influence in your style, you already lost. I get the clothes I like. I don't care what this nigga is wearing. I always did my own thing. Hell, I still rock Diadora's, Classic Adidas, Saucony's, Jordans from the 80's, & some other things from back in the day. I do my own thing & the rest of you should too. I'm from the South so I've seen a lot of corny shit around my way which lead me to develop my own style from what I personally liked. When I was a teenager between 13 & 17, I did mess with the Girbauds, Hilfiger & Polo because Puba was talking about them, but I couldn't do much more than that. You cats should be ashamed of yourselves if you're over 21 & still getting your style from a rapper. Most of those niggas style suck...especially the ones who are over 30 & dress like they're 17.
