Not surprised at all. Like the Ravens against the Colts, this game was fools gold. People were hyping that Jets D and that run game but the Colts just don't lose to one dimensional run first teams. If you are going to beat the Colts you need to have and offense that can score points and that is balanced because the Colts are going to score points. I don't care how good your defense is you are not going to shut down Manning for an entire game. The Jets found that out today. First quarter they looked great by the end of the second quarter Manning had them figured out and the flood gates opened.
Also people need to stop sleeping on that Colts defense. They have not allowed a single point in the second half these playoffs. That should tell you something.

Very good points. Colts made a statement tonight. I thought the Jets were going to get this but as you said, you can't expect to shut down Manning for an entire game. You have to score. I think it will be Colts / Saints, but it'll be interesting to see who wins between the Vikings or the Saints because they both can put up points and have a pretty good defense.

or shon greene got injured and thats when the momentum of the game shifted...lets be real anyone who really follows the jets i mean REALLY follows the jets especially in the latest run knew that shon greene was the best offensive weapon we had period and his presence in the game offensively basically dictates everything else we do...once he went down...thomas jones was invisible and sanchez couldnt get as flowing as he could because they didnt respect the run. This game meant nothing because once again another team lost its best offensive weapon in the game...and thats why they lost...
ps losing strickland on the Defense was also a huge factor into pussy ass garcon and collie gettin the games of they bitch ass lives....this game made me mad because we cud and SHOULD have won it...and niggas just chose the worst fuckin time to get injured...this is why injuries fuck up the integrity of the game

Stop hating and give props to not only our defense but the best qb in the game it didnt matter if strickland was in or not manning could not and would not be stopped he picked the defense apart point blank period

Those are excuses. That is not why they lost. They lost because because they couldn't stop the Colts offense period. You can cry about injuries all you want but injuries happen. Thomas Jone is your leading rusher. He set the franchise record for single season rushing this year your run game just got shut down in the second half. You are just a disgruntled Jets fan. Get over it. Your team lost to a better team. Garcon and Collie was burning y'all all game even when strikland was in. Just be happy the Colts kicked two field goals early instead of scoring touchdowns or this would have been an even bigger blow out. Get the fuck outta here with your blame it on the injuries loser mentality. Aint no one buying it. We all saw the game. The Colts were the better team.

i disagree and i know you never watch the jets so you wouldnt understand my point...but i know what i saw...and trust me shon greene going down strickland going down made that game alot easier for indy period....if you havent watched the jets more than 13 times this year....you will not get my point

great game....IMO the Jet's peaked after the trick wildcat play....they used up everything they had offensively cuz the colts were SHUTTING down the #1 run O and all that did was give manning more opps to figure out the D...which ironically could not shutdown the Colts running game enough to make them more one dimensional(like they did to the chargers the week before), they forced Sanchez to win it and he played good early on but he's not ready to throw the ball to win a big game and it showed...fuck shone green getting hurt(he was a nobody until Washington-YOUR BEST PLAYER got hurt), he was getting shut down point blank period and the Colts were not gonna let him and T. Jones wear them down(they're too fast for that)....they gang tackled his ass into submission.....Edwards started good but they took him out of the game too and he was quiet the rest of the night...all in all...Peyton did his thing as well as the DEFENSE nobody wants to talk about and i dont see the Saints stopping them, only making it entertaining like last years....
