I got "saved" again when I was 12... I was told and ultimately believed that I was saved at that time from my past sins and from the devils temptation.

Two years later I learned I wasn't saved from lust and women, and so began my journey and my realization that I was only bullshitted not saved.

Yes, through death.

A living being cannot resist some form "sin" or temptation. It's all natural, you can only hope to contain it during the right moments.

I don't think I needed someone to tell me I felt like shit when I lied to someone.

You're only human...flesh, blood, organs and bone...but your human body also consist of a spirit and a soul. When you get saved or the true biblical term "born again", once you confessed your life to Christ, your spirit being(internal) is the main element that's saved, not your flesh(external) unfortunately still has those fleshly desires.
