because Time wasn't measured as, 24 hours = one day.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday...are three distinct, different days of which all three consisted of him spending some Time, dead.

True and false. Israelites then and now count days from sundown to sundown.

From Friday sundown ( Yom Shabbaht/7th day) to Saturday sundown (Yom Rishon/1st day) = Day 1

From Saturday sundown (Yom Rishon) to Sunday sundown (Yom Shaynee/2nd day) = Day 2

From Sunday sundown (Yom Shaynee) to Monday sundown (Yom Shleeshee/3rd day) = Day 3

There was no such thing as Sunday to the ancient Hebrew Israelite anyway. Neither to the Romans as the used an 8 day week until the rise of Constantine.

Even though I think the bible is factitious anyway, this is the correct answer.

great question bro.

the romans brought that false doctrine in from good friday to easter sunday,

Christ said he would be in the grave 3days&3nights. You can't break prophecy unless you are a "scc", then you get the response it just doesn't matter as long as he rose! Lol

according to scriptures Jesus went into the grave in the midst of the week not

on no friday, the prophet Daniel speaks on when he went in the grave_ which

was the evening of wednesay & he rose on the Sabbath/sat right

before the sun went down_ because as we all know the LORD days start at

sundown

wed nite 1

thur nite 2

fri nite 3

thurs day 1

fri day 2

sabbath/sat day 3

this is prophecy_ so why is everyone going out to worship the "sun" come easter sun day?

Daniel 9:26-27

after Christ was killed it stopped the law of animal scarifice, & the veil ripped from top to bottom (this is where the Levites would sprinkle the blood from the anmials) Matthew 2:50-51

& to confirm 3days & 3 nights prophecy -Matthew 12:40

True and False.

Dan. 9:26.... And after 310 threescore 8346 and two 8147 weeks 7620 shall Messiah 4899 be cut off 3772

Show us a 62 week period corroborated by the "Gospels".

Also reconcile what Messiah actually is in Hebrew.

מָשִׁיחַ

1) anointed, anointed one

a) of the Messiah, Messianic prince

b) of the king of Israel

c) of the high priest of Israel

d) of Cyrus

e) of the patriarchs as anointed kings

You mean, true. At least, if your presentation is accurate.

See, you came focusing on names where I focused on Time, I wasn't concerned with names of the day in Hebrew or anything else, versus concerned with Time...so no matter the names, of the days, you still quantified that some part of 3 distinct individual days passed, while he was dead.

So, I thank you judahx

Its not about the Hebrew language per se or any religious connotation as it is that with the change of names there is also a CHANGE OF TIME. As I said, Sunday did not exist as a designation of time in that era for Israelites, Samaritans, Edomites or Romans. Days were not measured from 12:00 to 12:00. You cant take that fact out of the equation.

My overall point is there is no historical and/or biblical justification for Sunday worship or calculations of Easter.

Just stating the facts.

its a matter of how time was calculated, like Judah explained, if you question that, you would also have to question how man lived for 800+ yrs back then as well...Its a matter of the calculation of time.

@Judah_

I was using v26 to show Christ would be cut off/killed in the midst of the week/wenesday in v27 of Daniel

& whenever I say Christ/Jesus/Messiah I'm speaking of the GOD of Israel, not ceasre borgia or any of those other false gentile gods that's suppose to be a suppose "messiah/christ"
