Thing is about "Confessions" is that Lil Jon helped make that album popular, not JD.

3 outta its 5 singles were produced by Jermaine Dupri, 2 of which were co-produced by Brian Michael Cox (who's a better comparison to JD).

"My Boo" which is the duet with Alicia Keys - who could do no wrong and was on fire at the time who probably still is - was the only song Produced by JD.

I also never said that The Neptunes don't have a body of work in a time period (considering that they're producers who produce in more than one genre of music) that's better than or equal to "Confessions" & "The Emancipation Of Mimi", 2 albums I've never wanted to give the time of day but only heard them becuz my bitches fucked with em.

I've also never heard all of the projects The Neptunes have ever done. They go back all of the way to 1991 and its been thru multiple genres of music, and not just Producing but Writing also.

You'd need more than a day to go thru all of them, with JD its about a day or less than that.

And "G I R L" is a good album for what it is. So don't get ahead of yourself just for the sake of trying to LOOK right.

Whether we're doing a numbers game or a quality check then the odds aren't in JD's favor tbt. That's why he can pop the way he pops but still doesn't have the respect that you would think would come with that.
