Not taking sides or anything but the real reason for the Gucci/Jeezy beef is the fact that Gucci never bragged about paying for Jeezy's verse on So Icy and then not allowing Jeezy to use the the song on his own projects. It wasn't even a beef until Gucci started bragging about not paying Jeezy to anyone who would listen. Gucci pulled Jeezy hoe card first....

A good friend of mine who was affiliated with Never Again records (who Gucci was afflilated with at one point when he was on Black Tee) did mention to me the incident you were reffering to but the main tipping point for everything was Gucci's refusal to pay Jeezy when asked (when he did before the song blew up). The show thing was prolly when the shit really did start to go south though looking back at it...
