folk always say what so and so shoulda took. maybe pride and his own sense of what he was worth allowed him to turn it down.. just saying

he also felt he should have got a partner cut. that it should have been, him jay, dame and biggs. and when he was only offered to be an artist he was offended. it was principle. however no one else was checking for him, so he should have jumped on it and then spun off and created his own thing

That was the problem. He released two albums in the late 80s and neither one of them had a buzz.

Can you think of a rapper that has two albums with no buzz that you'd sign to your label?

JAZ TOOK THAT FAST RAPPING SHIT TO NEW HEIGHTS...

AND THIS WAS DURING SIMPLER TIMES IN RAP...

I TRULY FEEL HE WAS TOO AHEAD OF HIS TIME...

Didn’t Big Daddy Kane use this style also

Yep that’s Kane’s flow spit a lil quicker!

To be honest, I never liked speed rap. I remember when Kane and Jaz O and Jay Z used to rap really fast and it seemed pointless to me. I still think its pointless.

Whats the point of rapping as fast as you can?
