Jay always rises to the occasion.

That's the one thing I admire about Jay..niggas say he fell off but everytime some new nigga come thru and dudes start talking bout he will kill Jay on a track, Jay schools the youngin(examples: shiny suit theory, Pressure, sitting sidewayz, cold as ice,Mr. Carter etc...) or when he does songs with legends like ra, nas..he's too versatile to be boxed in

haha i think he does it on purpose. he blacked on the Saigon track smh... i know them niggas be mad lol

on topic ra's verse is more poetic but jay had the all around better verse. delivery, emotion , lyrics were on point

One of his most underrated verses

Blueprint II mad underrated. Everyone focuses too much on the duds on the album.

Not really. It was double discs you got songs like Fuck All Nite, A Dream, What They Gonna Do Pt. 1 & 2, Excuse Me Miss, '03 Bonnie and Clyde, and etc.

Like no.

Yeah BP2 suffered from heavy filleritis but that Blueprint 2.1 tracklist was nice:

01 A Dream

02 Hovi Baby

03 The Watcher 2

04 '03 Bonnie & Clyde

05 Excuse Me Miss

06 All Around The World

07 Guns & Roses

08 U Don't Know (Remix)

09 Meet The Parents

10 Some How Some Way

11 The Bounce

12 What They Gonna Do Part II

Bonus Tracks:

La La La (Excuse Me Miss Again)

Stop

Beware... (Jay-Z Remix)

Blueprint 2

Bitches & Sisters

Know the shit I DON'T write be the illest shit that's ever been recited in the game word to the hyphen in my NAME

Not one of my favorite jigga verses but that bar is nice

I ain't even gonna lie...it was a few years before I caught the double meaning in that bar.

People say Ra got him but don't post the verse...lol

I'm "Rated R," my brain contains graphics thangs

It turn traumatic teens into addicts, and fiends

It's like, watchin a movie through a panoramic screen

Which means, I can see the whole planet in the scene

Cash is the topic, the object, a fatter pocket

Some take the crack and chop it, but those that haven't got it

take away the added profit, it's catastrophic

I take the gat and cock it, and I'll sit back and watch it

These New York streets is ugly, I keep it gully

The world is mine and can't nobody keep it from me

Yo, my neighborhood is never sunny

In the place where the number one cause of death is money

You can try copin

I've seen enough shit to leave your frame of mind broken

I'm still alive and scopin

Be another hundred years 'til my skies close in

And I'ma die with my eyes open, the watcher [echoes]
