It's not that I think he doesn't give a fuck it's

Just one of those things where I don't think he would give up his lifestyle for his beliefs if that makes sense?

So some of you cats

believe there is no connection between Jay, turning the NFL's offer down and then the next night shouting out Kap??

Jay's only concern was he wasn't offered enough money?

Interesting

and i bet he only wants the audio on tidal lol

I think it could be a missed opportunity he is one of the most influential people this generation imagine the optics of the Story of OJ at the superbowl impromptu..

the white tears would produce a tsunami

SMH at yall just assuming its over money. Im a cynical guy, but damn. It aint like he needs the money or press or NFL for anything.

This is their logic in getting black celebrities to go meet Trump after he got elected.

Fuck that.

there is no correlation

Except there is.

So when Jay agrees to do it, but they manipulate his performance to be some passive 'America loving Negro' shit, it'll be an obvious set up and people like you will be silent.

The only opportunity is the opportunity to be played

I don't think that's what he meant. He'd be Givin a platform(ala the Olympics in '68) to make a statment. Since you know, it is the most watched single event in the world.

In my lifetime, I've witnessed the top black athlete (Michael Jordan) ignore black issues in this country in order to protect his image.

In my lifetime, I've witnessed the top black entertainer (Michael Jackson) ignore black issues in this country in order to protect his image.

Fast forward to present time................

The top black athlete (LeBron James) and the top black entertainer(s) (Jay Z and Beyonce) have gone out of their way to bring attention to black issues, yet posters on a "black" hip hop message board are critical of that.

Unbelievable.

Personal feelings to a celebrity will all ways cloud people's judgement
