im not big into the dubstep shit but I've always heard dj's in London started it up.

Common knowledge.

This is a win for JayZ, I'm proud of his maturity, I wish rappers like Webbie could learn to behave like adults once they reach the age of 25 at least.

Dubstep originated in Detroit. Leave it to these IC-Crackas to take a BLACK urban genre of music and contribute it to European culture.

Jay-z is NOT the first hip hop act to headline or perform at Carnegie Hall, but he is one of many emcees that have performed at the iconic venue. Afrika Bambaata and Grandmaster Melle Mel was the first offical hip-hop artist to perform at Carneguie Hall in 1985. Wyclef Jean headlined an All-Star Jam Charity Concert at Carnegie Hall in 2001. Mos Def & Jay Electronica also performed at Carnegie Hall in 2008. MC Lyte was one of the first rap pioneers to ever perform at Carnegie Hall as well. Congrats to all the emcees that have performed at this venue.

(Whats up London) / Yeah he is the first solo hip-hop artist to headline at Carnegie Hall, The other artist you mentioned did preform there first but they didn't headline the show,..... Either they show sponsored or it was for A benefit, But still nice work on your Hip Hop History I wish other cats would put in the time to know whats what. ONE...
