FuckwithmeyouknowIgotit has grown on me a lot. BBC, Pt. 2, Beach is Better, Oceans, Picasso Baby are all songs I can fuck with. So I mean 6 songs ain't bad for a regular artist but we're talking about Jay. The expectations are higher for him. Don't think you can argue that any of his other albums are worse than this one lyrically. I think BP3 had higher high points and lower low points, especially skill wise. We'll see how this album stands among the rest of his catalog in due time. People's opinions change a lot over time. Some people cape hard for some shit initially like @usmarin3 did with BP3 only to admit later that it wasn't really good after the smoke clears.

Album was pretty good overall, but I honestly felt something was missing. The stand out songs for me are Somewhereinamerica, Crown (second best song on the album), BBC (best song on the album), La Familia, On the Run Part 2 and Beach is Better.

The intro with Justin Timberlake is the worst intro Jay has ever made, agreed........I don't ever wana hear another Justin Timberlake song again after hearing that track. The song with Rick Ross is wack as hell too....overall, the album gets a B+ from me. Definitely worth buying. Jay was a little lazy on this though, too many songs have him dropping only two verses

At the time it came out I was happy for a new Jay-Z album but to a point. Blueprint 3 was a major disappointment and cemented my worst fear that Jay-Z has eroded lyrically. It's one of the few Jay albums I never actually bought and I'm glad I didn't. Other than some choice songs it was a lot of filler and half assed attempts at big singles. Jay will forever be an all-time great but if he didn't make another album I wouldn't be bothered.

A huge let down. I didn't know what to expect going in to this album. But man, some tracks are fucking wack, it's like 90% of the album is filler, and I'm a jigga fan. Smh I don't think hov has eroded lyrically, I just think he was bored and decided to drop an album.
