Yea it does. but even though it says that, dilla himself stated in an interview that him, q-tip, and ali-shaheed Muhammad (The Ummah) are the ones who actually produced the original. and it happened soon after q-tip met janet on the set of poetic justice. jimmy jam and terry lewis took the credit. which I believe, because the ummah's (and dilla's) production around that time sounded eerily similar to the style on that record. and it also probably propelled them to release this in response
