no no, ignorance is a bliss and you are o.k.ing that???? nobody said you cant speak your mind, and plz if he didnt give a f about being fined or suspended why the hell was he bitching about quitting mid-season last year??? Again nobody said you cant speak your mind, but if you gonna be stupid about it, perpare for the backlash...j.harrison can be on an island by hisself and come back and tell us how popping off at the mouth worked for him.

Thats what i don't understand, why fine and suspend him for talking, it aint like he gave Ben or Goodell a 2 piece or nothing. Sticks and stones yo. If you cant take niggas giving criticism, whether its good criticism or not, then your skin is a little to thin for you to be playing pro football. And mind you this article was done during the lockout. so I wouldn't give a fuck either.

ok...go run up to your boss and bad mouth him, come back and tell me how it feels to be on the unemployment line...

foolish pride!

For the fools that just arent smart enough

from the book of 48 laws of power...

4. ALWAYS SAY LESS THAN NECESSARY.

• Transgression of the Law.

Coriolanus was a great military hero of ancient Rome. People held him in awe, until

he opened his mouth. He spoke his mind, hardly able to control his arrogance and

boastfulness. He slandered and insulted people. The more speeches he made, the

less people respected him. He suffered the people’s wrath and was eventually

banished from the city.

• Observance of the Law

Masters of enigma Andy Warhol and Marcel Duchamp knew the power of saying less

and keeping people guessing. The less Duchamp talked about his work, the more it

was talked about in the art circles. Andy Warhol recognized it was hard to talk people

into doing what you wanted, so when interviewed, he would give vague and

ambiguous answers and let the interviewer find his own interpretation.

Wisdom in a nutshell:

• Saying less will keep you from saying something foolish or even dangerous.

• Once the words are out you cannot take them back.

• Keeping silent makes people reveal more about themselves. This is information

you may be able to use against them later on.

I dont know why yall always trying to compare playing in the NFL to a nigga having a regular job. For one thing he might not be fined they are in a lockout. But as far as saying let him talk shit to his boss, for one thing Goodell cant fire him. And secondly, he is a professional athlete. There are only a handful of people that can do what he does so as long as hes producing he will be in high demand. Now if your a damn delivery boy or an accountant of course they will fire your ass. They can throw a rock in any direction and find 50 people that can do your job.

As for what he said I really don't have a problem with it. It was funny, plus I like when these dudes are honest. But with that said he is going to have to answer to his teammates and Big Ben whenever the lockout ends.

him running that int back for 100 yards was half the reason they beat the cardinals ....

but my point is, even with his td, the defense giving up 14 4th quarter pts put them in a position where they had to be bailed out by the offense to win that game.

it has nothing to do with comparing in real life, either you get it or you dont, the ones that get it, life is easier for them, the ones that dont continue to get in their own way. It's pretty simple

whether he said it during or after the lockout, when he is on vac, or at his grandmothers house or on the field. J.harrison signed up to be a pro. football player, when he returns goodell if he wants can make his life a living hell! The NFL is a private organazation that can make up their own rules and do what the f they want, there is no player, law enforcer or judge that can prevent them from doing so, so if j.harrions wants to act like he is standing up for what he believes in and continues to bad mouth his boss and his QB, go ahead cuz th l ast time i checked, the NFL plays his salary, and if he wants to continue to make money then only a smart man would maneuver in such a way that doesnt prevent that!

case in point why i used the running up to your boss example. Thank you!

Mendenhall responded saying he doesn't care what Harrison said, but he cared enough to note that he only fumbled twice while having the 4th most carries in the NFL last year

No he can't. There are laws against that. Any player can do anything they want and not be fined for it during the lockout. Just like organizations are not on the hook for injuries, players are not on the hook for conduct.

Secondly, Goodell is not the boss of any player. He works for the owners and the NFL. The only ppl that have direct control over harrison is rooney and tomlinson.
