I think he used to be overrated but now that he's had the chance to put out 3 average ass albums people realize he's not as good as his 16's on features.
real shit imo i think hes overrated idk he just comes off average like i had this guy brag about jadakiss, so i was like give me some shit to listen to and man that shit was average i don't understand why people think hes the best.
and his albums are so formulaic. you know every album he will make 3-4 street anthems. 2-3 tracks for the ladies. 2 tracks for the south. 2 tracks with some artist thats hot. 2-3 other tracks on whatever

Me personally, I always thought he was better on mixtapes/cd's (whateva you wanna call it) than any album he's put out. It's like he's a different person...imo!

Its not that he's overrated so much as he's easily imitate-able. Theres a lot more witty, gangster rappers who do exactly what he does (minus the ad-lib) than there were at the beginning of his career. He needs to reinvent himself.
