2 Fast 2 Furious is probably ranked as the least liked (besides Tokyo Drift) of all the movies. Vin and Paul careers stalled after they left franchise and came back to revive it. Without them F&F series would be Straight to DVD status. Ja didn't see the potential and saw it as Single one off movie, and he was a star at the time.

It's not even about the money in this instance. It's one thing to turn down a role but the way he did it is what makes this shit funny and an L for Ja. He didn't just turn it down, he was trying to curve John Singleton on some "I'm too big for this role" type shit...he wasn't too big for that role especially given he played such a small role in the 1st one but went around promoting the movie like he was starring in it. I remember that shit and I remember Ja getting clowned for that shit. I also remember him saying he turned down part 2 after Vin Diesel dropped out. Yeah nobody knew it was gonna be 7 movies deep and over $2 Billion grossed but Ja's ego, which he has now admitted was growing out of control during then, kept him from taking a role that would have kept alot more money in his pocket.
