What happen to Ja was a Hip Hop Tragedy and showed you just how "Bandwagon" some rap fans are. But I cannot give Ja 100% pass. Ja really let 50 get to him. When 50 clowned him for doing all the singing, Ja tried to switch it up and go Hard but it was too late at that point. Ja biggest mistake was not embracing what made him popular. He should of continued to do that singing on hooks ish cause that's what made him a Platinum artist. Instead he tried to be Hard and it back fired.

But I'm still laughing at all the bandwagon fans that abandon Ja and went to 50 Cent only for him to do the exact same thing he was criticized Ja for. RnB, singing on hooks. SMH. If you listen to 50 Cent's last 2 singles from his last album, "Have a Baby By Me, Do You Think About Me", both of those could of been Ja Rule singles in his hey day. 50 dissed Ja and then bite his whole style and because he had the backing of Dre and Eminem everyone acted like he wasn't doing what Ja was doing. I still got Love for Ja and I do feel sorry for what happen. People can be so fickle. Ja was one of the artist that had the early 2000's on Lock too, he had a lot of hits.

Felt like I could've wrote this.....cosign. unlike alot of niggas, I dont got an issue saying I liked Ja. Alot of his music is ingrained in my memories. I remember being a youngin in the summer of 01 & 02, getting my first piece of ass & all the shit playin on the radio was either Ja Rule, Nelly, Camron or Jay. The nigga made good ass summer songs.

50 cent didn't end Ja Rule's career.

Murder Inc. spending all of their money on court cost for Supreme ended Ja Rule's career.

50 shitted on Ja, True but yall actin like that "New York" track Ja did didn't put him right back in tha industry.

yall niggaz know all it takes is one hit record for the fans to forget shit.

Murder Inc. just didn't have the money anymore to back him.

me and the wife was talking bout this awhile ago.

we agreed that around that time everyone was putting out good club tracks or radio bangers.

Ja Rules was ahead of the pack...by far.

my moms was listening to him...and overseas they dont care about who is real or gangsta or biting...just hot tracks.

Ja gave jay his biggest song on his highest selling album.

Also he gave JLo the street look that catapulted her higher than she was...lets face it she cant sing.

I think alot of people higher up wasnt feeling Irv, and Ja got the worsst of it.

Lets not forget all the hype surrounding Murder Inc (Ja, X and Hov)

Also people forget or dont know of CMC b4 Ja blew up he was spitting hard.

However Ja could not handle all the disses 50 was throwing at him and he hurt hisself by not continuing to put out hits.

All his albums are multiplatinum and he was doing soundtracks and rnb cuts.

i m just going off memory, i m not looking this up.

Also when 50 came out he used the mixtapes to further attack Ja.

Ja didnt need the mixtapes to sell, not when u on songs with JLo, Mary, Lil Mo, Ashanti, Mariah Carey... lets not forget a young Christina Milian and Lloyd.

ahhh goood times...
