After a second listen. Every beat is on point minus Hello. Lyrically I got was what was expected: personal tales that most people can relate to and his ability to connect with his fans. Which makes Cole great not perfect but one of my favs. Listening to Love Yourz got me wanting to grind in the studio and appreciate life. "No such thing as a life better than yours" is stuck in my head. Most definitely his best effort album thus far. And the sample on St.Tropez is so smooth. This is an album that wont knock in trunks but rather something u vibe to after a hard day work. There's No track that made me press the skip button. That's a plus. This And Cadillactica will be in heavy rotation for a while. 8/10 rating

Looks like J.Cole is finally finding his "sweet spot" as a musician. Yo on some tracks he's reminiscent of a young 2Pac. Sometimes Wale sounds like him too but more so Cole.... I'm not saying he's him by any means I'm just saying the tonality and passion in their voice on some tracks.

Another thing too, yall gotta realize that 2Pac, Jay-Z, Nas, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne, artists like that didn't really find themselves until albums 2 or 3 (and in some cases 4). Cole is fuckin DOPE and he's just getting started.

Because it wasn't. I personally think 2014FHD and CWSS are much better. I think the reason i dislike Born Sinner so much is because of how monotonous the production is, the album production is so damn somber and has no variation in the sound.

LOL Like my opinion or anyone's opinion on music doesn't change all the time. It is lowered because the album didn't age well to me. I listen to Born Sinner the second least next to the Come Up.

Born SInner is an example of J Cole trying to do too much and he missed the target, particularly production wise.
