why all the dislike for j. cole? never seen this much consistant hostility towards one artist in a while on here

J Cole is digging himself a hole that he may not be able to get out of. The fucked up part about it is I think he actually believes this shit is hot.......I mean not just a good record but judging from his twitter I believe he thinks this Disgusting track is on another level.......makes you kind of weary of what he has on the album if he thinks this track is something ppl would wanna ride out to this summer.

I think a lot of it comes from the Drake comparisons. Especially when people say J. Cole >>>>> Drake (which is true, but I digress), the Young Money stans catch mad feelings

Then there's the Jay-Z haters. They're rooting for J. Cole to fail because he's Jay-Z's artist. If J. Cole flops, it gives them another reason to shit on Jay-Z

I'd say these two groups combined make up about 80% of J. Cole's haters

Being as objective as possible, I think Cole got talent. It just seem like he's chasing that hit, over-critiquing his music instead of letting shit flow naturally. I know the Drake comparisons are tired now but, Drake's transition from So Far Gone -> Best I Ever Had single -> Young Money group singles -> Thank Me Later just seemed to flow organically instead of cramming manufactured singles down our throats. J. Cole think he got to make the best single to ever grace Hip Hop & that's why he having trouble. All you gotta do it make what you've been making.
