Won't go as far as saying its better, but I would take the top 5 songs on that album over anything on this album. I think this album is better b/c it it flows better and doesnt have any automatic skips like SS did, but other than I Let Nas Down, I wouldn't say any song on BS tops his top 20 songs to date. There are a few joints on SS that would tho.

I don't get the "boringness" of this album or J Cole

I really don't see it when there are some truly boring rappers out there

Cole isn't one of them. at least not to me.

Cosign, I've been wondering why people have been saying this and that it's a snooze fest.

And Cosign that Gif B! Good Lord!

they say that cause he doesnt spit over tracks where the hi hats are going a million miles per second lol his tracks aint turnt up enuff lol

I'll do better and just hit a troll button

BS is miles ahead better than SS

and its better than Yeezus too

"go'head wack me (pause)"

SS is ten times more enjoyable. Much catchier songs. More memorable songs. *ye shrug*

Lights please and lost ones alone shits on this album

cole fans seem to not acknowledge those songs because we heard them way before the album but those are 2 powerful songs

kanye fans do the same to the songs they heard on GOOD fridays that made MBDTF..but they are part of the album..Lights On is my favorite cole song...nothing on here is as catchy/smooth and nothing on BS is as powerful as Lost Ones

First cole album I bought, first day of its release but im not feeling the production "as a whole" I find myself skipping alot of tracks with the exception of "runaway" (which stays on repeat) it has a Blackstar sound the hook is even reminiscent to mos def singing imo love that song. He can broaden his subject matter and be a lil more creative with his hooks on "land of the snakes" he repeats "drop that ass " which makes the song unbearabale at times. Born sinner can be one to grow on just not as of yet.

Favorite tracks as already mentioned

Runaway

Villuminati

Let down nas

Lol at me being a troll for saying I enjoyed his debut more. as if this shit is an undeniable classic or some shit

You're a troll because you're out here "go ahead wack me"

There was more cohesiveness, better lyrics and production on this album

lol at "catchier" songs being used as a plausible reason as to why you think his debut is better.

Theres alot of catchy bullshit on the radio too.

The fact is niggas made it seem like he was gonna drop a classic and innovative album. Every single song is talking about hoes and pussy. How is innovative at all? His beats are largely boring too. Both Yeezus and this shit were yawners. Will wait for MCHG.
