I joined my frat for the bitches, thats it. I don't care about nothing else but bitches and networking with bitches and pussy and getting free beer. I could do without the whole meetings and cleaning up shit i really dont like that shit at all.

I don't even care about becoming a real member or staying in that dusty ass frat house, but I love this college shit, this the peak of life you not going to be able to do this when you graduate. thats why im not going to graduates school cause that shit no fun. Ima move back into my dad house and chill.

lol misguided youth post

only niggas not making money after college think that college is the pinnacle of fun

nigga in college you're broke by thanksgiving IF THAT....I'm ballin every fuckn day

in college you can only go as far as your gas tank allows...I go wherever the fuck my wallet wants to take me

in college you niggas sit in boring ass lectures and don't get paid...dude ain't no nigga talking to me about shit unless I get to charge that time

i think the people who can't adjust to the real world would have the same troubles had they never joined a fraternity or sorority.

I'll recant the generalizations.

But I still feel as though some niggas feel like that period of their life is the only thing they had going

man that's just collegiate adults in general

they don't realize that once you get a salaried job, all those "fun" things in college are childs play

only great shit about college WERE the bitches and the college bars with the low low liquor prices

lets be real about that whole "joining a frat is a good marketing blah blah for the real world"

if you a grinder, you a grinder: bottom line. especially in todays economy.

maybe in the white world it helps more than in the black, but from my experience, them niggas have the same woes as non-greeks.

It really doesn't help that much. It's no different than having friends in college. Your brothers won't help more than a friend in school will. I think those stories of that one person where they had an interview and their interviewer was in the same fraternity/sorority and people turn those stories into legends.

niggas take their frat seriously even after they've been removed from college for decades...its funny cause I rarely see white guys/girls repping frats/sorors after they graduate like that...it's not that serious to them...but black people will be 50 years old rocking the colors and doing the calls...I mean some people find their identity in things like that...I can't...main reason why I could never join a gang growing up either....I think too independently

eh I mean to each his own....but joining a group doesn't negate one's ability to think independently

that and most of those cats that are old heads are continually giving back to the organization...either through history, programming, community service or straight up pledging

and white ppl don't care about their fraternities because they straight up don't CARE about their fraternities. They're in it strictly for the booze, bitches and parties. Thats the extent no more no less. Black fraternities are fostered upon the belief of lifetime cohesion and about the potential of being more than just being party kids.

I see that shit with people in college in general...i've been back to my campus once since I graduated and that was for this past year's graduation when a few people I knew were walking...I never understood those people who graduate and come back to visit every other weekend
