It's wild that NWA was only around for one album yet they still legendary

Biggie was only around for two and he's the best hip-hop figure of all time period. Quality over quantity.

well they worked on Eazy's first album and straight outta compton the reason they were legendary was because they weren't getting air play on radio or mtv and they couldn't tour because at the time their content was considered vulgar but they were still selling mad records and it ushered in west coast dominance of rap music because D.O.C album came out right after that and it was critically acclaimed as well

I don't consider Niggas 4 Life an NWA album cuz No Cube = No NWA.

So they drop one classic then pretty much break up. Only 2 years they were around yo. I obviously wasn't old enuff to know the effect of their status but from what I read, they were getting banned left and right like an Uncle Luke record.

Oh well at least the GOAT Ice Cube went on to have an illustrious solo career and Dre dropped the Chronic. Idk what happened to MC Ren. We all saw what happened to Eazy lmao.

Don't sleep on Ren

Now this is what I call quality. Two classic records in 5 years. But I've been a bit doubtful about having them as the greatest hip-hop group ever and leaning more towards Public Enemy, cause a bigger discography is kinda needed.
