I was in Africa at the time but I had access to Voice Of America on radio and there was a weekly HipHop segment and that's the first time I heard it

Never caught the Ether hype. Yea the song was ok and Nas said a lot of funny shit about Jay but it was like he was just playing the dozens and joanin on him. Takeover was the better song and Jay spit more factual shit

Also Jay spit way more subjective shit than facts in Takeover. Just because you agreed with some of his opinions it doesn't make them fact.
