its possible i may not and im definitely open to u or anyone explaining it to me. im thinking that out of all the diss songs we can think of people consider window shopper a great diss song. its a decent song to me but far from a scathing diss. he said names in the hook but nothing that would really hurt a person. imma be honest...piggy bank go harder than window shopper imo

The genius behind it was that it went over peoples head. It almost sounds like hes just saying "you a window shopper" without hearing the names. Esp since Joe, Ja, Jada all sound the same especially when you put them in the same melodic placement.

I don't understand. You can't give dude credit in a diss for calling names out but then call him a genius for doing it in a way that's hard to hear.

On top of that, there is a version of the song out there without the names. He just says "Nigga, you's a window shopper." That's actually the version I heard most. That's why I was confused when this song was brought up as a diss. If anything, that means this song is one of the worse disses of all time because it's essentially a generic 50 song with him taking shots at a few people in the chorus.

He had another song out around that time throwing darts at Nas called "Just a Touch" which was on Funkmaster Flex's Car Show Kings album that was tight too.
