Lol @ Kendrick. You think the average rap fan knows who Kendrick Lamar is? Only on The Reason

yea i'm sure the average rap fan knows who Kendrick Lamar..maybe not the average radio listener, but most ppl who are fans of rap have heard Kendrick's name before..

Section 80 is probably album of the year, and has he has killed EVERY feature he's been on..Kendrick is rapper of the year..

Co-sign. I dont think i will EVER take Wale serious. Something is not rite to me about him. I like a few songs from him but to me he is the epitome of soft street mainstream music.

Kendrick OWNED 2011, only real Hip Hop listeners knows that.

I'd rather someone attempt to be lyrical then just talk shit. We all know he's not one of the better lyricists, but the fact that he attempts it and actually adds lyricism into his raps and still keeps the same vibe/subject matter=success.

let me explain using words like exuberant over excellent

tabernacle over church

but uppity Negroes like your self cant smell what i'm cookin

because your nose is stuck up ya own ass

ID RATHER BYTCH NIKKAS DIDNT QUOTE ME *LOOKS AT YOU*

Spitta and Kendrick rised, Lupe and Wiz failed. By the way i a huge Lupe fan, i still believe in him, but Wiz is dead. Shame I use to stan Wiz smh. Wale is poop to me, i can only mess wit a couple of his material, but this nigga had the nerve to say ambition is a classic and grammy worthy when it was really nothing innovaitve an non clasicc. It wasnt bad, but the nigga overhypes shit to much and that comes of corny to me. He sets himself up to embarrass himself because he is big headed and talks too much

I named my rap nickname after Wale. It's Whale and pronounced pretty much the same way but you pronounce the h like the h in high.

I hate comparing dudes albums to their mix tapes but, More about nothing was more ambitious, diverse, and entertaining than Ambition. Sonically, Ambition just says alotta of the same things. Individually the tracks are nice (few witty lines, nice beats, wale using some conviction here and there) but, overall the sound of the album didn't deliver in any catagory. I don't regret copping the album tho cuz u gotta support the homie. Cole's debut album> ambition btw.

IMO, Childish Gambino's CAMP was AOTY, judge me.

Who is Childish Gumbo?? Can someone tell me more about this cat? What type of rapper he is? Is he mainstream or underground? What city he reps? Why am I asking so many questions?
