When Em first hit the scene you saw MTV documenttries about how Em grew up around blacks in Detroit how he was the token white boy in the D in black hoods Proof was his best friend friend you saw Proof with him on TV so out here that is how Em was presented when he first came out so in that regard black people thought ok cool he just a white cat from the hood he really dope too he doing Hip Hop cos he needs to as a means to get outta where he came from all good
That really was the vibe out here i don't know how many documenties there was out there about Em going back to hios hood in Detroit out there but over here there was alot when he first came out
On top of that it's not segregated here at all so you had whites in the hoods out here growing up with blacks anyway so out here Em always was good
