The major difference I've noticed is Cole can rap about his early struggles more earnestly. Drake never really touched on his adversity (or lack thereof) until Started From the Bottom and that got mixed reactions. Cole can talk that Dollar and a Dream shit and it doesn't come across as contrived since we didn't see him on a preteen soap opera growing up, so that aspect of his story is a lil more relatable to most niggas. Other than that they are pretty similar topically.

Even though I'm not a big Drake fan, I'd be lyin' if I said he couldn't rip a verse. Versace for example. And you can't accuse him of bein' borin'. Cole has more to him than Drake does, though.
