word? so wildstorm merged with dc? or just grifter?

i think most of wildstorm did. grifter is getting his own book, and apollo and mdinighter are teaming with martian to form stormwatch.

Have to take some of yall back and break out some of the legendary John Byrne's shit. Nigga can write (check out the Bullseye vs Elektra & Bullseye vs Daredevil storyline in "Daredevil #181) AND draw his ass off. I always thought John Byrne drew the best Batman interpretation as a kid. But Jim Lee's shit blows the competition away by far; it ain't even fair.

Old school X-Men cover. I actually have this issue in Mint condition.

Some more old McFarlane Spidey covers:

Also, one of Ron Lim's Silver Surfer covers. I always thought he drew the Surfer and Firelord the best out of any other artist.

This is my Marvel poster. Jim didn't go any of the characters on the poster, but his run on the book was so epic and he left such a impression on the Punisher, Wolverine, and of course the X-Men, that I just had to have him sign it. Claremont's autograph is on the left with the Logan sketch provided courtesy of Mark Texeria.

Jim Lee's and autograph from the "Icons," in-store at Mid-Town comics last year; also Mark Texeria of Ghost Rider fame is signature is on there too.

nice....should be worth something

Value isn't important to me. My fanboy stuff is for my personal enjoyment. Though my Spidey #300 was unofficially graded as very fine with a value of $60.

Jim Lee is top 3 of all time, he was my favorite after the xmen card series when they rebooted it with a blue/gold team. He been around for years so yeah he's gotta be in consideration got the goat spot. But, all the original guys that started image could get down; rob liefield, eric lawson, wilz portacio, jim valentino, mafarlane was a creative genius. Idk So many greats, it's hard to name the goat.

I disagree. The art work is better than most but I can't give it goat status. All of Jim lee's characters look the same. Same stock design chiseled jaws and intense looks.no variations in facial structure to further illustrate personality.

When you can substitute gambit's face with wolverines then you can't be called goat. You can sub cyclops gave onto superman's.

Alex ross covers come to mind. Artists should work on giving characters distinguishing features.
