The rappers I listen to I been waiting on 4 years going on 5 to hear a new project

Your left fiending but I respect it more cuz I see other rappers dropping too many albums

and after a certain point the new shit watered down and it takes away the demand like Im tired of it aint gotta hear it

everything is good in moderation to much of anything can become bad or played out if not careful

i like to sit and really listen and take in the music from artist i like.

most these cats in todays era put out so much shit that u dont get to do that with most cause once u finish with one u cant even play it back cause theyre releasing another album of material and like u said shit for the most part be garbage

Yes. That 96-97 no limit strategy can only last so long coming from 1 person.

Future last project was trash and he watered himself down with it but realistically, nobody give a fuck what he's saying as long as the beat hot and he drop some easily remember-able bars at least once a verse. Nigga can say anything it don't matter.....

60 baby mamas and they all on my dick

60 baby mamas and they all make me sick

No I don't think putting out excessive music is such a thing. Some of these artists still believe in integrity and loyalty when it pertains to their fans. @"KnowReasonForPeace", if you're burnt out on new material then you shouldn't over indulge. It's not that hard to accomplish, sweetie!

It all depends....if the mixtape stuff is just rhyming and the albums stay personal/beliefs then it's fine...when the albums and mixtapes sound the same..then there's a problem

It's tough trying to keep up with Spitta projects lol...

Spitta is one of the few, if not the only, who puts out tons of projects, but actually has some consistent level of quality with all the projects. he doesn't have 1 dope project followed by 3 that sound like were recorded in shenco's closet.

can't say the same for some of these other rappers

but I think that constant quality is part of what makes keeping up with his projects hard

You don't need to hear to much from a dope rapper much less an average rapper

Why you think Biggie was regarded so highly cuz the scarceness of material available

many expensive things have limited availability

like example housing market to many available homes cost go down to much supply not enough demand

but if there are a limited number of houses and the're is not enough to meet demand the value of the homes go up.

baseball cards or maybe comic books if it was a rare copy the value may go up.

Alonzo got 115 million dollar contract so Shag went with highest bidder lack of supply of big centers with talent so guess what there was a high demand for him so LA paid out 121 million dollar contract to get him on the Lakers.

If it's good, then it really doesn't matter. The problem with a lot of these acts currently, from like the last 12 years or ago, is that these people release EVERYTHING they record. No quality assurance, no discernment. These acts dont care about whats good, they just wanna see what they can get away with.

Big Daddy Kane released a lot of material back in the late 80s/early 90s. At first we thought he was one of The Goats, but he kept releasing material. Other rappers would wait a year or 18 months to release an album but it seemed like Kane was always on a posse jam or a remix.

He released an album in 88, 89, 90 and 91. His albums got progressively worse. Also there were a lot of remixes and b-sides.

Personally I got sick of him because I felt like he ran out of ideas.

I know a rapper has to eat, but the answer to the O/P is: Yes there is such thing as putting out too much material.
